I never much cared for Slingshot. Perhaps it is because he was an arrogant little dick, who was forever bad-mouthing Silverbolt and most of the Autobots. He was an Aerialbot, however, so I guess that redeems him.......somewhat. |

Slingshot was a flat-out punk in the cartoon. On at least two occasions he convinced the rest of the Aerialbots (except for Silverbolt) to leave the Autobot ranks. Both times Silverbolt had to show him the error of his ways. Always extremely cocky, Slingshot did little to back up his claims as being the fastest flyer of the group. But, at times, you did see that his motives were pure, and that his insuboordination could most times be attributed to his lack of experience. |
| Quite honestly, Slingshot is the crappiest looking Aerialbot, in my opinion. He just doesn't seem as solidly constructed as the other three small Aerialbots. In jet form, Slingshot is a Harrier VTOL ( Vertical Take-Off and Landing) jet. Unlike the other Aerialbots, his landing gear is fixed, and doesn't retract. Overall jet form is solid. Once transformed, however, Slingshot looks like a scrawny geek. Having flimsy arms in comparison to his teammates, he also is extremely narrow. He comes armed with a pistol, and forms Superion's left arm. Overall grade of B-. |
