Fireflight was another character that was ever present, but just seemed like an extra for the most part. What little we did see of him, he seemed like a capable warrior who could be counted on in battle. |

Fireflight cartoon appearances were usually in the presence of the rest of the Aerialbots. Not much detail was divulged about Fireflight's character. Overall, he seemed to be a team player and generally worked well with his comrades. It was Fireflight's last-second appearance that allowed the team to form Superion and defeat Bruticus once during an adventure in the Middle-East. Fireflight also once save Slingshot from Motormaster's wrath during one of the first meetings between the Aerialbots and the Stunticons. |
| Fireflight has a really nice toy form. In jet mode, he is an F-4 Phantom jet with a sharp-looking red-and-white color scheme. Landing gear, in jet form, extends and retracts. Transformed into robot mode, Fireflight isn't quite as cool, but definitely isn't as bad as Slingshot. It seems to be the case that none of the smaller Aerialbots look quite as cool as they do in the cartoon, but they are still pretty damn snazzy. He comes equipped with a double-barrelled pistol, and forms the right arm of Superion. Overall grade of B. |
